This summer, kids visiting Woodland Park Zoo have the chance to collect five FREE plush animals, while supplies last. Part of Woodland Park Zoo’s new summer visitor experience, “Every Living Thing Needs Water,” the five giveaway days are scheduled from June through September 2008 will feature free plush toys for kids, including two types of frogs, a snake, a turtle, and a penguin.

The first 2,000 kids (ages 12 and under) to enter the zoo on each giveaway day will receive a free plush animal of the day, while supplies last.

Think of ways YOU can conserve water at home because Every Living Thing Needs Water!

Plush animal giveaways are scheduled for five Sundays during the summer season:

• June 15, 2008 - Frog Day
• July 27, 2008 - Turtle Day
• August 17, 2008 - Frog Day
• September 7, 2008 - Penguin Day
• September 21, 2008 – Snake Day

Zoo hours from May 1 through September 30 are 9:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m. daily.

Giveaways will take place at all three zoo entrances, while supplies last.

Plushies are available free to the first 2,000 kids on each date.
