How do I bring a guest with me to the zoo?
All members may bring up to five guests per visit at half-price of full admission. Guests must accompany a member to receive the discount. Children covered by a membership (Gorilla Troop, Wolf Pack, Elephant Herd) may bring in guests even though they are not named on the card. The guest adult should be able to provide the membership card or identify the adult(s) on the membership and additional information such as address and phone number.

Memberships that include a flexible guest work the same as the half-price guest benefit. The flexible guest must accompany a member, either an adult or a child (as long as the membership covers children).

Some memberships also include guest passes (Wolf Pack, Elephant Herd). Guests may use guest passes without the member being present. Guests do need to have the guest pass in their possession to be redeemed upon entry.

How do I arrange for my nanny or non-household family member to bring my children to the zoo without me?
If you have a nanny, the Elephant Herd is likely the best value for your family. The Elephant Herd is like adding a Flex Guest to your Wolf Pack PLUS you will receive 2 additional guest passes, all for the same price as adding a Flex Guest to your Wolf Pack. You may also add a Flex Guest to a Gorilla Troop membership allowing your nanny to visit the zoo with your children. Wolf One and Lion’s Lair memberships do not include children, so a Flex Guest added to one of these memberships will not allow your nanny to visit the zoo with your children.

Children covered by Wolf Pack and Gorilla Troop memberships may also bring in a nanny as a half-price guest. For information on how to use these benefits, please see the above answer.

How do I receive my guest passes?
If you purchased your membership in person at either Woodland Park Zoo or Seattle Aquarium, your guest passes were given to you at the time of purchase.

If you purchased by mail, web, or over the phone, your guest passes are indicated on your “Primary Membership Card.” Just show the membership card marked “Primary Membership Card” at any zoo gate, and our admissions staff will issue you your guest passes. If you haven’t received your membership cards yet, you may still bring in up to five guests at half-price with your membership confirmation.

Can I use my membership at other zoos and aquariums?
You can use your membership for entry at more than 100 reciprocal zoos and aquariums across the country. Remember, each zoo has their own policies and your membership privileges may not work the same at each zoo. Please contact the zoo you are visiting prior to arrival for specific details
